Emma Rhoads is a fact checker for The Lovepost, ensuring that the content produced is well-cited in an era of misinformation. After attaining a degree in Microbiology and Global Health from the University of Washington, she worked in a variety of early-stage technology startups doing content creation. Currently on a multi-year "holiday" in New Zealand, she works remotely from her van around the country, surfing and climbing in her free time. Emma is passionate about access to financial literacy, as she has experienced first-hand the impact of attaining this knowledge. She believes that providing better resources to all on financial literacy has the potential to break the generational cycle of debt that many poor and working-class families fall victim to. Improving financial inequalities has the potential to improve health, happiness, and strength—things that everyone deserves.
