This section highlights bold, community-led responses to social and environmental challenges. As a contributor, you’ll research, write and potentially interview changemakers involved in grassroots and innovative programs around the world.

Themes: The Silent War
Twice a year, we explore a major theme in depth. Our upcoming theme, The Silent War, focuses on invisible illness—conditions and experiences often dismissed or overlooked by medicine, media and society. We welcome writers, creatives and researchers to explore stories around pain, disability, systems of care, survival and healing.

Editors
We’re currently looking for a detail-oriented copyeditor to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing, refining and perfecting written content to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy across the platform. You’ll collaborate closely with writers and other editors and to maintain and uphold high editorial standards.
Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit a variety of materials, including articles, marketing copy and other web content.
- Ensure all content adheres to style guidelines.
- Check grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting consistency.
- Collaborate with content creators to improve structure, flow and readability.
- Provide constructive feedback and help strengthen the overall quality of content.
Ideal candidate:
- Exceptional command of grammar and language.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in editing, journalism or communications preferred.
